Guelph University is a traditional university, formerly known as Ontario College of Agriculture, Ontario College of Veterinary Medicine, and McDonald College. The school was officially merged in 1964 and is known as one of the most extensive academic research schools in Canada, with an annual revenue of approximately 9 million in research.
The school is located in the agricultural center of Guelph, Ontario, a 45 minute drive from Toronto. Guelph is also the location of the Canadian Food and Drug Administration.
