Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office holds Lunar New Year reception for Hong Kong students

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto (HKETO) held a Lunar New Year reception on February 14th for students from Hong Kong who are currently studying at different universities in Ontario.

The Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Wu Wanjing, introduced the role of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office and its mission in promoting economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Canada. She also talked about the latest developments in Hong Kong Canada relations and emphasized the importance of Hong Kong as a major global trading entity, as well as its role as a "super liaison" and "super value-added person" between mainland China and other regions of the world.

Wu Wanjing pointed out that the cultural connections between Hong Kong and Canada are both broad and deep. She encouraged her classmates to become ambassadors for promoting Hong Kong and seize valuable learning opportunities to equip themselves and achieve their dreams.
