The University of Victoria in Canada is located in the capital city of Victoria, the westernmost province of British Columbia, and was founded on July 1, 1963. For the past 60 years, it was a branch of McGill University and the University of British Columbia - Victoria College, and now it has become a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC). Victoria University has a total of 20 dormitories located on campus, providing accommodation for over 3000 students. Students can choose between single or double rooms. Single rooms are generally 100-140 square feet, while double rooms are 150-240 square feet; Each dormitory floor will have a public restroom for students to use. The annual cost (including catering expenses) is approximately CAD 7000-8000 for a single room and CAD 6000-7000 for a double room (including catering expenses).
Facility Services
The school has established many research centers to encourage and strengthen their research activities. The research center of the school mainly strengthens its relationship with domestic and foreign countries, while the academic center of the college mainly conducts professional research and training. Every campus has modern computer rooms that provide various service software, such as Microsoft Windows and Windows Basic Desktop Operating Software. The Student Service Center provides a range of services, including personal problem consultation, accommodation information, kindergarten, financial consultation, support for overseas students, and collection of employment information. Entry Requirement
Undergraduate: Graduated from high school (can be applied for in the third year of high school, but a high school graduation certificate is required at the time of enrollment), with an average score of 80% or above in the three years of high school and a score of 70% or above in the college entrance examination. Chinese freshmen or students who have completed undergraduate preparatory courses can directly enroll in undergraduate courses with an IELTS total score of 6.0 (not less than 5.5 for each course)
TOEFL score of 575 or IELTS score of 7 or above.
Graduate students: Students who have graduated with a bachelor's degree or equivalent can directly enroll in master's programs with an IELTS total score of 6.5 (not less than 6.0 for each course). If the IELTS score is not up to standard, they can first take the accompanying language courses.
