The University of British Columbia is located in the suburbs of Vancouver and has 17 research centers and institutions, leading four central advanced research centers in Canada. The university hosts 60% of research activities in the province of British Columbia (BC). Not only is it one of the top universities in North America, but it also enjoys a high reputation internationally and is the oldest university in British Columbia.
