Otigan College is a public comprehensive higher education institution located in the Otigan area of British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. It was founded in 1963 and initially provided various college courses, vocational and technical training courses, and remedial courses. In 1989, Otigan University College began offering undergraduate education in collaboration with Columbia University and Victoria University. In 1995, the University College of Augsburg was granted permission to award bachelor's degrees separately.
Otigen College currently has 5 campuses, offering undergraduate, vocational, and certificate training courses to 7200 students and continuing education courses to over 30000 students, with a high-quality and responsible faculty team. The University College of Odin has received support from major research funding institutions in Canada and enjoys a high reputation in the field of vocational training based on computer education. In 1998, the University College of Augsburg won an important international award for its outstanding achievements in educational innovation and launched a very active international education program.
The school provides students with comprehensive learning, living, and recreational facilities. The school has an international student service organization and has Chinese speaking student advisors who provide guidance on course selection, daily life, and other aspects for Chinese students. Chinese students and other international students generally study at the Kelowna campus. Kelowna is the largest city in the Otigan region, with a population of around 120000. It is approximately a 4-hour drive from Vancouver and a 2-hour drive from the US border. The Otigan region is the most scenic, mild climate, and fresh air area in Canada. The entire region is built along Lake Otegen, located in a large valley of the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by mountains and water, with a climate similar to Beijing, distinct four seasons, and temperatures roughly equivalent to Beijing. Skiing is the most common sport in winter, while swimming, water skiing, and other activities can be done in summer. The local residents are mainly descendants of European immigrants, with fewer Asians. The residents are very friendly and have a high level of safety.

Okanagan University College (OUC) is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, with many lakes and mountains. If it's summer, you can participate in many activities such as swimming, boating, kayaking, and playing golf. If it's winter, you can ski, snowboard, and participate in many other winter activities.
Accommodation services
Most international students choose to live with local Canadian families carefully selected by OUC staff. They provide a private bedroom and three meals. Most of these families are scattered near the OUC campus and have convenient transportation. Dormitories and private residences are also feasible. Due to limited dormitories, students should apply in advance.

All international students are required to participate in medical insurance during their study period at the University of Augsburg. After arriving in Canada, international students can apply for B. through the university's Department of International Education C Province Medical Insurance. Entry Requirement
Basic requirements for undergraduate admission to the University College of Augsburg:
1. At least 18 years old, graduated from high school (vocational education or graduation is also acceptable)
2. High school average score of over 70%
3. TOEFL score of 470 or above
Those with a TOEFL score of 550 or above can directly enroll in undergraduate courses
Those who score 470-550 on TOEFL can apply for conditional admission notice. After enrollment, they can participate in ESL English training and enter undergraduate courses when they reach a score equivalent to TOEFL 500
For those who do not have TOEFL scores, they can apply with their high school transcript or college entrance examination transcript. After enrollment, they can participate in ESL English training and reach a score equivalent to TOEFL 500 to enter undergraduate studies
Foreign Language and Preparatory Studies
ESL stands for "English as a Second Language Program" and is an English intensive course designed specifically for non-native English speakers. The ESL program at the University of Augsburg is divided into four levels based on English proficiency. ESL courses usually last for three months each, with a tuition fee of approximately 2250 Canadian dollars per session.
