Overview of Fraser Valley University College
Fraser Valley University College is a Canadian public university officially approved by the state. The college was founded in 1974. The college has four campuses, with its main campus located in Abbotsford and Chillivack, about an hour's drive from Vancouver. The modern facilities and beautiful campus of the college showcase its unique characteristics. A large number of outdoor activities, abundant shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues make suburban communities a good place for people to fully enjoy urban and suburban life. The school currently has 1200 faculty and staff members; 7000 students; 200 foreign students come from nearly 40 different countries. We offer over 80 one-year certificates and two-year diploma programs, as well as 12 bachelor's degree programs. In many majors, students can adopt a "tiered" learning plan, gradually progressing from certificates to diplomas to degrees. This means that even if students are unable to complete a four-year undergraduate degree program for certain reasons, they can still obtain a one-year certificate and a two-year associate degree based on their completed academic performance. This gives students greater freedom in ensuring the success of their study plans.
