School Profile

Algonquin College is the only comprehensive national higher education institution in the Ottawa area that teaches in English. The dean of the college is appointed by the state, and the college has the authority to issue graduate certificates, applied undergraduate degrees, and associate diplomas with the approval of the state And industry employment qualification certificates. The college has ten branches, namely: High tech College, Business College, Media and Design College, Health and Community College, Police and Safety College, Transportation and Architecture College, Tourism and Hotel Management College, Traditional Heritage Protection College, Language College, and Higher Education Preparatory College. At present, there are 56000 students in the college, including 16000 full-time registered students, distributed in more than 140 majors throughout the college. There are over 1400 full-time and part-time professors and lecturers. The government allocates over 170 million Canadian dollars annually for office and research expenses. There are 130 multimedia electronic classrooms and 5000 desktop and laptop computers in the entire campus, exclusively for students' use. Entry Requirement

IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL CBT score of 237, and IBT score of 90. Students who have not taken the English exam (IELTS or TOEFL) can apply to study at Algonquin Language Institute as an additional condition.
