St. Margaret's School (SMS), founded in 1908, is one of the best non denominational girls' schools in Canada with a history of nearly a century. It has a high ranking (6th in BC province) and admission rate (97), as well as an impressive reputation and alumni circle. At the same time, it is also one of the more expensive non-profit private schools (boarding students' annual tuition, accommodation, extracurricular activities, school uniforms, and other expenses exceed CAD 40000, equivalent to over RMB 250000), providing first-class education from kindergarten to high school for children from high-income families.

If you have the opportunity to visit St. Margaret's Girls' School in Victoria, Canada, you may be impressed by the campus: it covers an area of 133 acres, nestled in century old trees and lush green grass. The campus is divided into lower grade and upper grade areas, with a teaching center, two gyms, a gym, a large playground, outdoor tennis courts, and four student dormitories. All buildings are single story with ample spacing between them, fully considering the needs of safety, comfort, and humanization.

Every September when new students enroll, they must undergo a two-week enrollment counseling (of course, this is also a fee, costing nearly 2000 Canadian dollars, but parents are also invited to attend some of the audits on campus). During the enrollment counseling period, new students will not only learn all the necessary knowledge of school life, but also complete bank procedures and familiarize themselves with the local environment under the arrangement of the school.

If you are worried about whether your child should attend a girls' school, the school will tell you that actual statistical data shows that girls' school students are better and higher than mixed school students in terms of overall academic performance, math and science grades, college admission rates, and self-esteem and confidence. The teaching methods of each course at St. Margaret's Girls' School have been specially adjusted according to the characteristics of female students.

Famous alumni of St. Margaret's Girls' School include former Governor General of Canada Iona Camparnolo, renowned Canadian artist and writer Emily Carr, and several Olympic award-winning athletes.
