Over the past decade, Dianshi Art Garden has established a complete academic teaching system with North American characteristics. Dianshi Painting Garden was founded by Professor Patrick Chen.
Dianshi Art Garden has complete facilities, professionalism, and stable students. For many years, students have been able to smoothly enter their ideal prestigious schools according to their own wishes, including the Ivy League Princeton University in the United States and the Paris School of Design in France, University of Waterloo, University of Ryerson, Sheridan College, OCAD, University of Toronto Affiliated High School, Claude Wason Arts Program, etc.
Dianshi Painting Garden has established a complete academic teaching system over the years, suitable for students of all ages aged 10 and above to participate.
The students of Dianshi Art Garden have radiated to areas outside of Greater Toronto, with the farthest student coming from Oxbrege, Missasuaga, Waterloo, Gulpeh and other surrounding cities. The composition of its students also tends to be older, including middle school students, high school students, college students, OCAD Academy of Fine Arts students, international students, and adults.
Permanent courses: Cartoon drawing, sketching, watercolor, acrylic painting, spray painting, powder painting, graphic design, fashion illustration design, architectural rendering, preparation for entering university and various levels of art schools.
All courses are personally taught by Professor Chen, who has over 20 years of teaching experience. Professor Chen is known as the "first pen" in the Chinese spray painting industry. Representative figure of the new realistic painting series in contemporary Chinese art, featured in special news by China Central Television and China News Film Studio. Received special recognition from the Chinese Ministry of Culture for making significant contributions to promoting cultural, scientific, and technological progress. Professor Chen Xuewen has published seven monographs, picture books, and some books have been used as textbooks for domestic art colleges in China. For the first time in the field of graphic design in China, the theory of transcendental imagination was proposed (author of the book "Transcendent Imagination"), and this reverse thinking model was introduced into teaching, which has had a significant impact. Professor Chen was named one of the 100 Outstanding Artists of the Global Season by the authoritative North American art magazine International Artist, and his works were included in "How did you paint that? 100 ways to paint still life and florals". Winner of the Best Display Design Award at the Annual HOME SHOW in Canada, featured in an interview with China Fortune magazine, and featured in an interview with New Era and City Television in Canada. The work was selected for the leading visual arts magazine "Art Scene International" in Germany, included in the "2008 Global Chinese Billboard", and won the 2008-2009 Olympic Cup Art Achievement Award.
