Deng Longqing, a young Chinese painter and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts with 15 years of experience in art teaching, teaches (member of the China Artists Association, Ontario Artists Association, Hunan Artists Association, and Hunan Youth Artists Association). The studio has a formal and professional studio environment, providing systematic art textbooks and professional painting teaching aids, with a focus on small classes (6 people) of studio teaching to ensure teaching quality. In the classroom, the teacher personally demonstrates teaching, designs teaching content according to students of different levels, adopts a combination of small class teaching and individual guidance for teaching, and evaluates students' classroom and post class assignments to achieve personalized teaching and strive to fully develop each student's interests and abilities.

   

The Longqing Studio mainly trains students aged 4-18, and divides them into classes based on the characteristics and painting skills of different age groups, gradually upgrading. Students who make rapid progress can upgrade at any time.

The teaching purpose of Longqing Studio is to improve students' abilities in observation, memory, imagination, thinking, creativity, and practical hands-on experience. 2. Improve students' interest and painting skills, while also cultivating their aesthetic ability.

   

Since its establishment, Longqing Studio has achieved many results: dozens of students have won awards in the Toronto Community Children's Painting Competition. For example: Tommy Lee (8 years old) won first prize in the 2nd International Children's Painting Competition in Toronto, Timothy Fu (12 years old) won first prize and judge's award in the 8th Youth Chinese Painting Competition in Toronto, Janet Wang (7 years old) won first prize in the York District Children's Painting Competition, and so on. In addition, after training at Longqing Studio, students' interest and ability in painting have greatly improved, and they have all demonstrated outstanding performance in school art activities. All students in the art class of the college entrance examination are 100% admitted to various art schools in Canada, such as Tony Zhang being admitted to OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design), Mike Li being admitted to the Architecture Department of Waterloo University, Tina Hu being admitted to the Art Department of York University, and so on.
