Li Jie, the person in charge of Li Jie Academy, graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and pursued further studies in Canada. She worked as an art teacher at the University of Toronto's private campus (PSA) for ten years. With her careful guidance, her students achieved a 100% admission rate to various art universities Numerous awards have been won! In 2006, Tan Xueer participated in the poster design competition for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Toronto, Canada. At a young age, she made a name for herself and won the championship. The copyright of her poster was permanently purchased by the Olympic Committee. The emblem of the first public girls' high school in Mississauga that she attended was created by her. Every day when she saw the emblem she designed at school, Tan Xueer felt a sense of pride in her heart.
Her student BING HOU won the championship of the Ontario Memorial Day poster design competition and is about to represent Ontario in the national competition. Student JOHN JING entered the top 12 of the Canadian Wildlife Children's Painting Competition and her works were selected for the Canadian Wildlife Calendar; Another student, KRESTON, participated in the Nestle Chocolate Packaging Design Competition in Canada and stood out among 20000 contestants, winning the championship in one fell swoop. His design works were widely adopted by Nestle Chocolate Company. Regina Wong won the first prize in the Wanjin Festival Painting Competition; Michelle Zheng won the first prize in the painting competition at the Central Library of Mississauga and entered the top 12 in the 2011 Anti Littering Calendar Design Competition organized by the Canadian Plastics Industry Association; Erin Ly won the Christmas card design competition organized by Everbright Life Insurance in 2008 and 2010 respectively. There are countless other students who have won art competitions in their respective schools.
Teacher Li Jie herself has also been rated as an excellent art teacher by Duoda (PSA) for six consecutive years from 2002 to 2007.
In the past year, Li Jie Academy has developed smoothly. In addition to traditional art classes, students participated in local Peony Festival activities in Oshahua City, Ontario, and won almost all awards in the Peony Festival Flower Fairy Children's Painting Competition. They also pioneered a summer nature sketching class, which received widespread praise.
Li Jie Academy is a cradle for cultivating children's artistic creativity and aesthetic taste, and also a preparatory class for an art university.
