The Jihong Tai Chi Academy, located in Dortmund, was founded in 1991 and is currently led by Liang Jianxiong as its president and head coach. Under the policy of scientific theory and systematic training, the college provides high-level Tai Chi courses to achieve the goals of strengthening the body, cultivating both internal and external skills, improving the quality of life, and promoting national quintessence. Many Tai Chi enthusiasts come here because of its reputation. Infused by his passion and skills in Tai Chi. For many years, using the Jihong Tai Chi teaching system, we have successfully enabled over a thousand students to appreciate the true essence of Tai Chi. Numerous students have won numerous awards in Canadian and international competitions, and actively participated in community welfare activities, bringing Tai Chi to schools, hospitals, community centers, fitness and rehabilitation centers, grassroots organizations, disciplinary forces, sports elites, and other levels and individuals.


After more than ten years of hard work, it has established its position as a top Tai Chi institution in the Greater Toronto Area.


Principal and Head Coach Liang Jianxiong:

In 1992, Orlando won the gold medal in Chen style Tai Chi at the National Martial Arts Competition in the United States; Tai Chi Sword Gold Medal. In 2004, he won the gold medal in Chen style Daji Sword and Yang style Tai Chi at the 5th International Wushu Invitational Tournament in Beijing, China In 2005, he won the Chen style Tai Chi gold medal at the 3rd International Tai Chi Exchange Competition in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China In 2005, in Beijing, China, awarded the International Sanda Referee B-level certificate by the International Wushu Federation In 2006, he served as the chief referee for Tai Chi Push Hands at the 6th Pan American Martial Arts Championships in Toronto, Canada In 2007, he served as the Chief Judge of Tai Chi Push Hands at the All Canada Tai Chi Championships in Toronto, Canada Master Liang spared no effort to spread and promote the essence of Chinese culture. In order to provide a better environment for more Tai Chi and sports loving students, Jihong Tai Chi College has just relocated to 3241 Kennedy Road, Unit 9 new school. Larger venue, better environment, and more exciting activities. Autumn and winter are approaching, and appropriate exercise is very important. Jihong Tai Chi Academy specially arranges different exercise times such as Tai Chi and Qigong for teenagers, middle-aged people, and the elderly. Jihong Taiji Academy will have a public open week from August 30th to September 6th, and there will be exciting performances by teachers and students from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the afternoon.
