Where to go for a long weekend? Recommended shopping malls and attractions for Toronto Family Day!

Next Monday is the Family Day weekend, and some shops and public service departments will be closed. However, there are still some attractions and shopping malls open, with some operating hours adjusted.


According to BlogTO, the following are the locations where Toronto Family Day will open (and close) in 2025.


The places that will be closed include banks, government offices, libraries, LCBO chains, and The Beer Store chains.


TTC and GO Transit services will operate according to the Sunday service schedule. Some stores of Shoppers and Rexall chains will be open.


The shopping malls that will close on Family Day include CF Fairview, CF Sherway Gardens, CF Shops and Don Mills, Scarborough Town Centre, and Yorkdale Mall.



The shopping malls that will be open on this day are as follows:

CF Markville Mall - Operating hours from 11am to 6pm

CF Toronto Eaton Mall - Operating hours from 10am to 7pm

Pacific Mall - Operating hours from 11am to 8pm

Toronto Premium Outlets - Operating hours 9:30am to 7:00pm

Vaughan Mills Mall - Operating hours from 11am to 7pm

Aga Khan Museum (77 Wynford Dr.) -10am to 5:30pm

Bata Shoe Museum (327 Bloor St. West) -10am to 5pm

CN Tower Canadian National Television Tower (290 Bremner Blvd) -10am to 9pm

Gardiner Museum (111 Queen's Park) -10am to 6pm

Hockey Hall of Fame (30 Yonge St.) -10am to 5pm

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada (288 Bremner Blvd.) -9am to 9pm

Toronto Zoo (2000 Meadowvale Rd.) -9:30am to 4:30pm

Royal Ontario Museum (100 Queens Park) -10am to 5:30pm
