President's speech
In the golden autumn of October, the 2nd Canada China Real Estate Home Expo, hosted by CCRPA and co organized by JADE EXPO LTD., will officially open on October 19, 2018 at LE PARK in the Greater Toronto Area! The exhibition will last for 3 days, and I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the 100 companies and over 5000 members and directors of the Canada China Real Estate Investment Association!
The real estate industry is the leading industry in Canada's national economy. According to data released by Statistics Canada, the construction and real estate related industries together account for 20% of the country's GDP (real estate sales, management, and leasing services account for 13% of Canada's GDP; the construction industry contributes 7% of GDP). The real estate industry is the most important industry in Canada. At present, the homeownership rate in Canada has reached 70%, the highest level in the world. The Canadian real estate market has always been the hottest investment focus in the world.
At the same time, in 2017, the total trade volume of goods between China and Canada was CAD 93.67 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.0%. Among them, Canada exported 22.78 billion Canadian dollars to China, a year-on-year increase of 13%, reaching a new high in nearly 6 years; China exported 70.89 billion Canadian dollars to Canada, a year-on-year increase of 10%. China continues to maintain its position as Canada's second largest trading partner, second largest export market, and second largest source of imports.
To cater to such a favorable market background, the scale of this expo will be more than three times that of the first expo. This expo breaks through limitations and looks at the whole picture, attracting a large number of well-known high-end enterprises from China, Canada and mainstream society to participate. The participating enterprises will cover many industries related to real estate, finance, home furnishings, construction, materials, etc. We will strive to make the Canada China Real Estate Home Expo a highly influential annual real estate and home exhibition event in the Greater Toronto Area.

Introduction of the China Real Estate Investment Association:
The Canada China Real Estate Investment Association was established in 2006 and is a non-profit multinational organization registered under Canadian law with corporate legal personality. Its purpose is to provide a platform for professionals in the real estate and related industries to communicate and cooperate, and to enhance the overall development level and image of the industry. The Chamber of Commerce Council is composed of 45 outstanding individuals from the real estate, finance, business, academia, and non-governmental organizations, with its headquarters located in Toronto. The Canada China Real Estate Investment Association has nearly a hundred members in the real estate and related corporate groups, as well as over 5000 individual members. It is the largest organization and platform in the Chinese Canadian real estate industry, and also gathers elites from various industries related to real estate, including real estate, finance, mortgages, property inspections, property evaluations, insurance, lawyers, accountants, developers, architects, designers, and raw material suppliers. It has become an important bridge for Canadian, Chinese, and other overseas investors to purchase properties globally.
