The China Real Estate Investment Association (CCRPA) held the annual Top Brokerage Charity Awards Dinner, also known as the "Oscar Awards Ceremony" in the real estate industry, last Saturday (April 15). Nearly a thousand people attended the event, including real estate elites and their high-end clients, business leaders, third level politicians, and overseas Chinese leaders from various organizations. Dr. Wang Yujia, founder and chairman of the Yi Kang Foundation, and Xiao Xianyang, president of the Yi Kang Foundation, were also invited as guests.
One of the segments of the charity dinner is the continuation of the "CCRPA Health Heroes List" fundraising project launched last year by the renowned local developer Tridel, the China Real Estate Investment Association, and the Health Foundation. The Chamber of Commerce has committed to raising 1 million Canadian dollars over five consecutive years to support the establishment of three long-term care homes under the "Love, Urgent" initiative by Yikang.

Dr. Wang Yujia sincerely thanks the Canada China Real Estate Investment Association for mobilizing a large number of directors and volunteers under the leadership of President Sun Zhifeng, arranging for guests to donate on site, and giving back to society through personal actions. The guests present responded warmly, and within just 15 minutes, they pledged a donation of 100000 Canadian dollars. Famous painter Zuo Jin also donated his paintings for a charity auction on site. The funds raised have taken Yikang's "Love, Urgent" construction plan one step closer to its goal, and the first new hospital is expected to start construction in Scarborough this autumn.
President Xiao Xianyang praised the real estate elites and sponsors who attended the dinner as brave and responsible health heroes, which perfectly matched the theme of the dinner, "Perseverance and Courageous Progress". To express our gratitude to the kind-hearted individuals, Yikang has specially given away two spots for the 27th Golf Charity Tournament, which will be held on May 16th at King's Riding Golf Club (14700 Bathurst St, King City), for a lucky draw. We also invite golf enthusiasts from all walks of life and those who love public welfare to become club members on the green field, and support Yikang in establishing a new long-term care home to benefit the elderly community in most areas.

Yikang's' Love, Urgent 'Plan to Build a New Hospital
Canada's population is rapidly aging, with over 7 million elderly people aged 65 and above. Currently, there are approximately 8000 people waiting for long-term care beds at Yikang, most of whom come from Chinese communities and can wait for up to 10 years. The average waiting time for long-term care beds within the province is only 152 days, reflecting the community's strong demand for culturally appropriate and high-quality long-term care services provided by Yikang.
In order to address the urgent issue of elderly care, Yikang is actively raising funds for the construction of new nursing homes and plans to build three new nursing homes in Scarborough, Markham, and Mississauga as soon as possible. This move will double the number of long-term care beds at Yikang, expanding from the existing 805 to 1605 beds.
