The 2023 Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant Finals were successfully held
The 2023 Toronto Chinese Miss Pageant, hosted by New Era Television and co organized by City Television, Canadian Chinese Radio, and Entertainment Life Magazine, was successfully held on December 2nd at the Greater Toronto Chinese Cultural Centre. This year's Miss Chinese Toronto Championship was won by No. 7 Zhang Shiman with outstanding performance, who also won the "Kingscross Hyundai Most Photogenic Miss" award, becoming a double champion; No. 2 Cai Zhuoying won the runner up, the "Air Canada Friendship Miss Award", and the "Time Art Appraisal and Auction House Performance Art Award" in one fell swoop, becoming the third runner up; The third place winner becomes the first in Chen Yilin's bag; On the 8th, Li Caiwei won the "Meiyuan Hair Collection Beautiful Show Award". Champion Zhang Shiman, according to tradition, was crowned by Miss Xu Xiyi, the previous champion, and walked around the venue to receive congratulations from the audience.
The theme of the finals is "Multiverse", with 8 contestants taking the audience on a journey through different celestial bodies, including the eco-friendly universe, the primordial universe, and more, bringing different surprises. Through talent shows, swimsuit quizzes, and fashion shows, they compete for the Toronto Chinese American Girl Championship. The professional evaluation team includes Mr. Pan Zongming, a renowned television and radio host, Dr. Lu Ying, a professor at the University of Toronto School of Medicine and the head and chief ophthalmologist of Scarborough Health Network Ophthalmology, Ms. Bai Yingyin, the runner up of Miss Chinese International 2002 and the champion of Miss Chinese Toronto 2001, as well as Mr. Liu Xinxing, a senior photographer. The auditor for the conference is Mr. Ren Zhiwei, a chartered accountant. The emcee lineup of the conference includes famous hosts Xiao Jiajun and Zhang Zhiwen; The emcees of the venue were renowned hosts Mei Zhihui and Huang Aiyao, who had rich experience and worked together to create an exciting night.

The grand finale kicked off with the dance performance of the beauties. In the personal talent performance segment, Jiali performed on stage with herself generated by artificial intelligence AI, shining brightly. Chen Yilin's Jazz Dance, accompanied by flute playing, blends movement and stillness with ease; Cai Zhuoying's modern dance performance on the 2nd showcased the soft body of women; Zheng Xinyue on the 6th also performed dance as a talent show, and her Hip Pop performance was full of energy, dynamic, and pleasing to the eye. On the 4th, Yan Jiaxi played "Butterfly Lovers" on the violin, while on the 5th, Tao Wenqing played "Wishing for a Long Life" on the largest double bass among string instruments, coincidentally combining Chinese and Western culture, high art, and folk opera; On the 7th, Zhang Shiman picked up her guitar and sang "Love Never Felt So Good", performing a wonderful and moving performance. Empress Dowager Le Mans played "Fireworks Are Easy to Cool" with her guzheng, and the delicate sound echoed through the theater; On the 8th, Li Caiwei showcased the unique charm of Eastern women and inherited traditional Chinese culture through the classical dance "A Dream Starts the Red".
Undertaking the talent show segment, the questions for the swimsuit question and answer session are also generated by AI. The beauties wear uniquely designed swimsuits, showcasing their months of hard work and graceful figures. In addition, they also have to instantly receive questions from two emcees about the various wonders of traveling between different universe planets and celestial bodies, including situational questions in different universes such as the Thousand Island Universe, Primitive Universe, Dance Universe, etc., testing their creativity, intelligence, and urgent talents. The group of beauties showed their cleverness, showcasing their eloquence and allowing the audience to understand their unique creative ideas. The fashion show is conducted in pairs, with 8 beauties taking the audience on a journey through eco-friendly buildings in a unique eco-friendly recycling space factory. They wear fashionable clothing that utilizes waste recycling to showcase the infinite possibilities of fiber, plastic, textile materials, and metal recycling. Chen Yilin and Cai Zhuoying wore unique dresses, with bamboo framed skirts that swayed gently with their footsteps, revealing modern innovative design; Empress Dowager Riemann No. 3 and Empress Dowager Yan Jiaxi No. 4 present a minimalist aesthetic with simple clothing and a large number of accessories made of rubber hoses as embellishments; Number 5 Tao Wenqing and Number 6 Zheng Xinyue put on colorful rope woven reconstructed long dresses, simple and modern; The long dresses of Zhang Shiman on the 7th and Li Caiwei on the 8th are woven using wire mesh, which is avant-garde and fashionable. Eight beauties ride these unique fashion styles with confidence and composure, showcasing their elegant beauty.

The conference invites TVB artist Luo Ziyi, who came from Hong Kong for the first time as a special performance guest, and new musician Haneda as special performance guests. Haneda diligently practiced Cantonese and performed "This Life, This World" and "A Beam of Light in the Dark Night" created by him. He also shared his inspiration and insights with the audience during the creation process; Luo Ziyi brings to the audience "Heart with Heart", "Nameless Song, Nameless You", and "Listening to the Wind's Song". Among them, during the performance of "Nameless Song, Nameless You", 8 beauties came on stage to dance, adding beauty to the performance with the music and lighting.
