Celebrate the Spring Festival of the the Year of the Loong, and jointly build a harmonious home. The "Three Regiments" Spring Festival Gala was successfully held
Spring breeze, spring day, spring vast, the Year of the Loong, dragon day, dragon auspicious. On February 25, 2024, the the Year of the Loong New Year Gala, co sponsored by the Canadian College Literature Society, the Canadian Sonar Art Center, and the three sister associations of the College Drum Orchestra, and co organized by the East Maple Color Multicultural Arts Group, was held in the center of Wanjinshe District, Toronto. More than 150 community residents, members of the three groups, heads of brother associations, and city councilors attended the event. Mayor Xue Jiaping sent a congratulatory letter. York District Councilor He Hujing and Wanjin City's 8th District Councilor Li Siyun personally delivered New Year's greetings and watched the performance at the evening party.

This evening party received strong support from the York District Government's opposition to violence and the Breaking Violence Fund of the Ping An Community Fund. The program was mainly self written, self-directed, and self performed, fully reflecting the characteristics of "building a harmonious home together". The performers include innocent and lively elementary school students, elderly people in their prime, and middle-aged people in their prime. The program is rich and colorful, with drums and dances, speeches and singing, choir solo performances, solo and group dances, blowing, playing, stage plays, etc., showcasing the talents and charm of the actors. Especially by integrating literature and art with music performance, it is full of fun and exciting.

This is a festive and energetic evening party, which kicked off with the cheerful sound of drums and gongs. It was hosted by Chen Gang and Yue Hong, directors of the Literature Society, in both Chinese and English. The leaders of the three clubs, Yang Haijun, Han Li, and Chen Yunzhang, delivered brief and warm speeches at the evening party.
In the past year, whether facing wind, frost, rain, snow, or obstacles, the three clubs have worked together, united and cooperated, and were able to move forward hand in hand in the face of difficulties, creating a harmonious cultural atmosphere together. This evening party is not just a cultural performance, but also a concrete action of the three clubs to build a harmonious community, while also showcasing their unity, friendship, and positive spirit.

The leaders of the sister clubs who participated in the evening party included CCAA President Zhao Changchun, University Business Alliance Executive Director Feng Jiande, University Art Troupe Leader Li Jianguo, Current President Group Leader Liu Yuanzong, Secretary General of the Canadian Association of Fellow Villagers Zhou Zhijun, North American Chinese Health Association President Wang Peizhong, Lawyer Li Haiqing of H. Lee Law Professional Corporation, Canadian Chinese Professional Women's Association President Liang Meiying, Canadian Chinese Pen Club President Sun Bo, Canadian Recitation Art Troupe Leader Wang Xianming, and Dragon Phoenix International Federation President Pang Jin. This event also received strong support from community philanthropists, with a wide variety of prizes. The calligraphy works of Pang Jin, the president of the Dragon and Phoenix International Federation and a famous calligrapher, as well as the donated books of Sun Bo, Yu Yueying, and Wan Mu, the presidents of the Chinese PEN Society, were presented. 在欢声笑语中，为时三个小时的活动圆满结束。这场别开生面的“三团”共庆和共建晚会，组织协调得当，后勤保障有力，义工默契配合，节目质量上乘，抽奖奖品更是丰富多彩。感谢文友们的积极参与，感谢慷慨友情赞助提供奖品的朋友们，感谢晚会节目组成员们的精心策划，演员们倾情演出，以及义工同仁们的默默付出。正是这份共同努力，使得晚会取得了圆满成功。期待着“三团”在甲辰龙年继续携手同行，共同努力构建更加和谐的家园。
本次活动特别值得一提的是加拿大高校文学社首次推出舞台系列剧《反欺凌！共建美好明天！》，自从今年一月底确切得到约克区政府基金之后，加拿大高校文学社负责这个项目的陈刚理事迅速行动起来，在全体理事会成员大力协助下，在一个月之内进行了征文，征求舞台剧剧本，排练等等系列准备。征求舞台剧本得到了社会各界包括年轻人在内的非常积极的响应，在短短15天之内一共征集到了20部剧本，其中包括了几个大学年轻大学生们的创作作品，文学社迅速投入到排练之中，所有参加演出的演职人员在极短的时间内完成了由布兰登大学心理系教授，东北师范大学加拿大校友会创会及名誉会长苏畅博士创作的这台针对华人新冠歧视，学校霸凌，应对策略的“反欺凌，共建美好明天”的舞台剧，现场演出非常成功！高校文学社也将在以后的几年里陆续推出多部优秀舞台剧。
