Blue River Valley in Spring - Celebrating International Women's Day on March 8th, 2024
Time lingers, blooming with fragrance, and suddenly it's spring again. At the beginning of a year, a season is full of vitality. Listening to the whispers of birds, searching for fragrance at your fingertips, watching the beautiful flowers, feeling the bright sky of the world, celebrating another festival that belongs to us women - International Women's Day on March 8th.
On this beautiful day, the Canadian Yunnan Chamber of Commerce, the Lan Valley International Cultural and Art Alliance (formerly known as the Canada China Folk Culture and Art Troupe), ADDINGTON PARK CONDOMINIUMS, FEDERAL CAPITAL GROUP (Federal Capital of Canada) The 2024 Goddess Festival event "Blue River Valley in Spring" organized by DALWIN COLLEGE also arrived as scheduled, just like Spring Girls. In previous years, Chairman Tian Ronglan of the Canada China Folk Culture and Art Troupe would invite everyone to their homes to chat about their work and life, and invite everyone to taste a bowl of love themed "Lan Mi Noodles".

Lanmian Rice Noodles are a deep and profound patriotic sentiment, a long and warm bond of friendship, and a round and hot feast of life. Let us communicate, learn, change, and grow here. This year's Goddess Festival event, "Spring in the Blue River Valley," was presented in colorful D&H Show Production costumes. Provincial Councilor MPP Daisy Wai, Wanjin City Councilor Yang Qiqing, and former Wangshi City Councilor Yang Shiting attended to congratulate and sing songs to express their support for the festival and activities; The guests present include industry elites from various industries and ethnicities in the Greater Toronto Area. The splendid stage and warm venue bring everyone a unique and wonderful feeling. I wish the goddesses all bloom like the orchids in the beautiful river valley in spring, living a prosperous and beautiful life.

作为来自中国大陆的移民，来到加拿大，我们才真正体会到这个节日的国际意义，就是认可、平等和尊重。三八国际劳动妇女节是一种标志和期望。它标志着社会的进步，文明的进程，是我们对更美好更平等社会的期望。
在人类几千年发展出来的父权社会里，妇女地位低下，今天在世界上其它一些地区，还有姐妹们在受着不平等的对待。我们庆祝三八国际劳动妇女节，就是希望我们的社会更加进步，我们的文明进一步发展，我们的国际视野进一步拓展，女性在社会、经济、文化和政治中做出更大的贡献。同时也是基于这些理念，本次活动主要主办方加中民俗文化艺术团将更名为兰河谷国际文化艺术联盟。

“人们说你就要离开村庄，我们将怀念你的微笑，你的眼睛比太阳更明亮，照耀在我的心上”，提到加拿大，这首红河谷一定是大家耳熟能详的民歌、名歌，它展现了移民加拿大的居民在这里垦荒种地、建设家园、发展城市，最终将荒郊野原变成了人们生活的美好家园；提到云南，映入我们脑海的是那高洁娇贵的兰花揽胜大好河山，处处繁花似锦，团团花簇镶金，兰河谷，寓意着云南灿烂浪漫的兰花融入了加拿大的红河谷，成了兰花盛开的有着强大的生命力的兰河谷。
兰花，是中国梅兰竹菊四君子之一，兰叶春葳蕤，在春天里迎春勃发，散发阵阵香气，飘送远方，象征着人的品格高尚，艺风高洁，美丽兰花盛开的河谷，河谷的水滋养兰花，兰河谷，寓意五彩缤纷兰花盛开的美丽河谷艺术之路绵延流长，姿态万千，波澜壮阔，为有源头活力来。国内享有盛誉的以及在加拿大艺术界有口皆碑的工笔国画家李巍松先生，向兰河谷艺术联盟的田荣兰主席赠送了他的亲笔精心字画《家和人寿年丰》。
