2024 Wanjin Talent Show invites Ontario performing artists to showcase their talents

After the great success of the first "Wanjin Talent Show" in 2023, this year we collaborated with the Markham Arts Council of Wanjin Art to publicly recruit and return. We cordially invite all performing artists, including singers, songwriters, musicians, dancers, actors, models, and other performers, to submit their works to showcase their artistic talents and participate in the public recruitment for the 2024 Million Talent Show, which is open to all artists living, studying, or working in Ontario.

The competition will be divided into two groups: the 16 and under age group and the 17 and above age group. The submission deadline for 60 second performance video works is June 6, 2024 (Thursday) at 5pm Eastern Canadian Time.

Mayor Xue Jiaping and Frank Scarpitti of Wanjin City will serve as the honorary chairman of this event, while Amanda Yeung Collucci, member of the sixth district council and executive director of public recruitment and exhibition in Wanjin City, Stephen Chait, chairman of the board of directors of Wanjin Art Committee, and Shruti Ganapathy, executive director of Wanjin Art Committee, will serve as co chairmen of this event.

The huge success of last year's Wanjin Talent Show marked the rise and improvement of the contestants, many of whom have been signed by casting agents and other agents, and have booked a large number of advertising, performance, and music tasks. This year is no exception. A panel of renowned judges, including music directors, management companies, casting directors, and industry experts, will select semifinalists for each category from the submitted works in the auditions. These finalists will participate in the finals and receive cash and other rewards. Each semifinalist and finalist will receive 2 priority seat tickets for the semifinals and finals.

令人印象深刻的评委名单包括一个堪称典范的评审团，其中包括Juno 董事会成员Aideen O Brien；朱诺奖Juno Awards提名者Robert Laidlaw；独立经理人Patricia Jarosz；独立经理人/模特经纪人Cynthia Cully；电视/电影选角导演 Colleen Rush；选角导演Sarah Sheps；青年评委杨旭日Anthony Collucci 和 Maya Gamzu等等。
