World Championship Symposium held at VIVA: Assisting in the successful hosting of the 7th World Mahjong Championship
On the morning of May 25th, Toronto was drizzling, and VIVA Home located at 7500 Woodbine Ave was brightly lit and bustling. The directors of the Canadian National Mahjong Association were gathering with entrepreneurs and media friends from the Greater Toronto Area to discuss how to make the 7th World Mahjong Championship, which will be held in Mississauga in October this year, the best mahjong tournament in history. There are many posters of the 7th World Mahjong Championship placed around the venue, creating a festive atmosphere. Everyone actively spoke up, offered suggestions and ideas, and provided us with valuable opinions and suggestions from various aspects such as competition organization, logistics support, market development, media promotion, fundraising, and promoting Chinese culture.
David, the General Manager of VIVA Home, as the main organizer and initiator of this event, took the lead in speaking, stating that VIVA will continue to support the Canadian Mahjong Association and its various competitions. Dr. Peng Liangjian, the media representative and president of North American Headlines, stated that he will definitely cooperate with the Mahjong Association to do a good job in spreading and promoting Chinese national treasures overseas, as well as promoting the 7th World Mahjong Championship.
