Chen Hanzhong has been dedicated to the study of Chinese calligraphy and poetry for decades, with extensive involvement in wax and remarkable achievements. When it comes to the compilation of "Talking about Famous Calligraphers", he said, "In 2003, I was elected as the president of the Canadian Chinese Calligraphy Association. At that time, I believed that leading a calligraphy group required not only calligraphy creation skills, but also academic research on calligraphy history theory, calligraphy literature history, and so on. Yan Hui once said," Who is Shun? To whom? Even those who are capable. "As the first disciple of Confucius, Yan Hui, who is revered as the" Fusheng ", also believed," Shun is such a great person, and I am such an ordinary person, but I believe that as long as we follow and learn from great people, we will also have achievements and achievements

Therefore, Chen Hanzhong utilized his spare time of "extra years, extra days, and extra hours" to extensively study the evolution and theory of calligraphy, and explore the background factors for the success of great calligraphers throughout history. After more than 20 years of persistent research, I have accumulated a large amount of precious historical materials, which have given me great inspiration. These materials are also an inexhaustible library for my calligraphy lectures, which have benefited me a lot. I believe these materials will also have the effect of using history as a mirror for friends who enjoy calligraphy

The traditional Chinese calligraphy art is gradually declining in the face of the ever-changing modern society. As inheritors of calligraphy, we should open our horizons and stand on the shoulders of historical calligraphy masters. With the pace of the times, we should constantly innovate and break through, and recreate the historical glory of the new era of calligraphy. So, I decided to compile 'Talking about Calligraphy Masters' and share it with my peers. After systematic analysis, deduction, summarization, editing, and compilation, we have finally finished filming and written a book.

Chen Hanzhong, with the original intention of loving calligraphy art, spared no expense to print the colorful "Talking about Calligraphy" book and agreed to sell it for sale at a price lower than the cost of 40 CAD per book (postage is calculated separately). All proceeds from the charity sale will be donated to the Greater Toronto Chinese Cultural Centre and the Calligraphy and Painting Society, as a dedicated platform for promoting Chinese calligraphy.
