The 2025 North American Chinese Basketball Invitational will be held in Markham City at the end of May

The Canadian Chinese Basketball Association (CCYAA) held a press conference yesterday (January 22) at the CCYAA Community Center, announcing that it will once again host the North American Chinese Basketball Association Invitational Tournament 2025 or NACBAIT 2025 in Markham City at the end of May this year.


Zhao Zikuang, President of the Jiahua Youth Sports Association, stated at a press conference that it is an honor to receive the presence and enthusiastic support of Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of Markham City. Today, we are holding this press conference at the Jiahua Youth Sports Association Community Center to promote this basketball invitation tournament This is the 43rd edition of the North American Chinese Basketball Invitational, which is held annually on Memorial Day weekend in different cities in North America at the end of May. Thousands of players and their families and friends will come to Markham from cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Washington to participate This year's competition is divided into the following categories:

Men's group: Men's public, friendship, over 35 years old, over 40 years old, over 45 years old, over 50 years old, and over 55 years old

Male youth group: under 12 years old, under 14 years old, under 16 years old, and under 18 years old

Women's Group: Women's Open, Free Group (Friendship), and Girls Under 18

Most of the players participating in the competition are basketball experts Many of them are college basketball level players (National Collegiate Athletics Association, Canadian Interuniversity Sport), and some even have professional or national team experience The Jiahua Youth Sports Association previously held this event in Toronto in 1995, 2000, and 2010 Coincidentally, this fourth time happens to be in the year of our 30th anniversary celebration.


The competition is held at several top basketball courts in Markham, including Markham Pan Am Centre, King Square Sports Centre, Can Sports Center, And Bill Crothers Secondary School, with free admission for the audience.
