Canadian Chinese model: Li Wenhao awarded the Coronation Medal of King Charles III

On February 23, 2025, in Toronto, former federal senator Hu Zixiu held a ceremony on behalf of the British royal family to award the King Charles III Coronation Medal to eleven outstanding individuals in Ontario.

This medal was established by the Canadian government for the coronation of King Charles III on May 6, 2023, to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Canada in the fields of economy, charity, community, service, medicine, technology, and education.

Among the recipients of this honor, only six Chinese individuals stood out

Li Wenhao, the President of Manny Canada and former President of the Canadian Entrepreneurship Council, is involved in fields such as building materials, real estate, finance, and business in Canada.

At the same time, his philanthropic efforts include serving as co chairman of the Macquarie Hospital (Lunar Gala), honorary chairman of the Canadian Children's Hospital (Gala), and contributing to the Terry Fox Foundation Covenant House、 Charitable organizations such as Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and Health Foundation donated funds. Thanks to outstanding contributions in diverse fields such as business, community service, and charity, this honor has been awarded.
