On February 27, 2025 (the 30th day of the first lunar month in the year of Yi Si), the Chairman of the Buddhist Association of China, Venerable Jingyao, passed away and held a grand ceremony to celebrate his passing at the Banqiao Sports Center in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
