HKJU was founded in 2000 and this year marks its 25th edition. Initially, HKJU had five alumni associations, which later increased to seven and has since grown to nine in recent years, The original intention of the establishment of HKJU was to encourage alumni associations of various Hong Kong colleges and universities overseas to connect and help each other, regardless of age, college, department, etc., and to promote the spirit of Lion Rock. Alumni from various universities serve new immigrant alumni to help them adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.

This summer, HKJU held a joint school trip, and over 150 people spent a pleasant weekend. If alumni of the nine Hong Kong tertiary institutions mentioned above have not joined this big family, please feel free to contact the Ontario Alumni Association of each institution.
